Small children (and cats) can see things that other people can't.

Apparently a lot of Therianthropes and Otherkin have had this sort of experience. I haven't, personally... the most similar experience I've had was when some toddler pointed at me and shouted, "Banana, banana!" This cryptic message, whatever it was, was probably for other reasons than second sight.

The comic still being in its infancy, some style experimentation is inevitable. I sketched a realistic version of this strip, too, but the simplified version worked better. In this case, the idea got across more smoothly when it wasn't mired in cross-hatching.
